ACCA: Scope and Certification
ACCA members find employment in more than 180 countries across the world. The United Nations, Australia, Dubai, Singapore, and Canada are some of the countries that offer career opportunities to candidates who pursue ACCA in India. The global recognition, flexible course duration, and suitable ACCA courses fees structure are some of the major factors why ACCA is rapidly growing in India.
ACCA Course Fees
As the ACCA course duration is flexible, so are the ACCA courses fees. Depending upon the exemptions, duration, and other factors, the ACCA course fee varies between Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 2,50,000. Candidates should get an understanding of the fee structure before deciding to pursue the course.
Registration Fees:
Registration fees are a mandatory and a one-time amount that the ACCA aspiring candidates must pay. Registered candidates have access to the ACCA portal and the last few year’s exam papers. The ACCA registration fee in India is Rs. 3,000.
Candidates may lose registration due to lack of subscriptions. If such a thing happens, then the candidate has to register which may cost triple the initial registration amount.
Subscription Fees:
The candidates must renew their ACCA membership each year to continue using the portal. For this, the candidates have to pay an annual subscription fee of Rs. 11,590. If any candidate fails to pay this subscription fee, then the ACCA body has all the rights to remove the candidate’s registration. So, the subscription fee is the most important ACCA course fee.
ACCA Knowledge Level Exam Fees:
Knowledge Level is the first level exam that the candidates have to appear for and pass. This level has 3 papers and candidates must pay an exam fee of Rs. 8,243 to appear in this level exam.
ACCA Skill Level Exam Fees:
Skill Level is the second ACCA exam level and has 6 papers to appear in and pass. The exam fee for this level is Rs. 14,030.
ACCA Professional Level Exam Fees:
Professional Level is the last exam level and here candidates have to appear in two mandatory papers and have to choose two papers from four optional modules. The exam fee for this level is Rs. 7,794.
Apart from the ACCA courses fees, there are also many other fees and charges such as full-time membership fees, subscription fees for 3 years, and many more. Understanding the whole structure may get confusing at times. Hence, one of the best ways is to get in touch with professionals such as Zell Education who help in understanding the structure and pursuing the ACCA course with ease.
ACCA Course Duration:
Similar to ACCA courses fees, the duration to complete the course also is flexible. ACCA allows flexibility to complete the course based on the candidate’s and other factors. For example, students who have just joined the course after completing their Higher Secondary will get certification after completing the exams in 3 years and then completing a practical work experience of 3 years. On the other hand, candidates who already have work experience can complete the course in 3 years.
In another example, candidates who are attending weekday classes can complete the ACCA course within 3 years. Candidates who are just attending weekend classes will take 5 years to complete the same course.
